Post Mauryan, Tribal, Yaudheyas&nbsp;(150-100 BC),&nbsp;Copper Unit,&nbsp;&ldquo;Chitreshwara&rdquo; type, Obv:&nbsp;three-headed Shiva seated facing forward on a kneeling figure &lsquo;Apasmara-purusha&rsquo;, holding a trident in his right hand and left-hand places on the respective knee, a female figure standing at the right field with holding a flower in right hand and left hand resting on the hip, Brahmi legend &ldquo;(Bhagavatah Chitresvara-Mahatmanah)&rdquo; around the field, Rev:&nbsp;a deer standing facing right, a female figure stands on the right field in front of the deer, traces of other symbols,&nbsp;8.25g, 23.0mm,&nbsp;(PAIC # 1643/Handa # Pl. LXXXII-Type 3), choice very fine,&nbsp;Rare.

Note: This type was attributed to Kuninda by A M Shastri; however, Devendra Handa suggests that it was derived from the Yaudheyas, and Pieper attributes them to the Yaudheyas as well. This type of coin is extremely rare and only known from a single hoard found in the early 1980s. As per Shastri, the Apasmara-purusha motif is associated with Shiva&#39;s iconography. The Yaudheyas copper coins are inscribed with the name &#39;Chitreshwara,&#39; which is the name of the clan&#39;s tutelary deity.
