Sikh Empire, Ranjit Singh (VS 1856-1896 /1799-1839AD), Sri Amritsar Mint, Silver Rupee, VS 1879 (1822 AD), "Nanak Shahi" Couplet, Obv: Persian legend "Sikka zad bar har do Alam Fazle Sachha sahib ast, Fateh tegh-e-Guru Gobind Singh Shah Nanak Wahab ast" with 12 pointed flower or Aarsi like symbol above Guru Gobind, Rev: Persian legend "zarb Sri Amritsar jiyo" at the top, "Takht Akal Bakht" with "crescent" symbol above "Takht", 11.02g, 24.03mm, (Gurprit # 1.39.01), no test mark, slightly double struck on both sides, choice extremely fine.
