Full Description:

Kuninda Dynasty, Amoghbuti (200 BC), Silver Drachma, Obv: a deer standing to the right with a square-shaped vase above its back, an early Srivatsa symbol between its horns, a Yupa in railing below the deer, the goddess Lakshmi stands on the right field in front of the deer, facing forward, and holds a lotus flower with an upraised right hand, the Brahmi legend "Rajnah Kunimdasya (Amoghbhutisya Maharajasya)" (Great king Amoghbhuti, of The Kunindas) around the field, Rev: a centrally placed six-arched hill (chaitya) with parasol, a wavy river line below and a Nandipada (Triratna) above, Swastika above an Indradhvaja on the left field and a tree within railings on the right, the Kharoshthi legend "(Rana Kunindasa Amoghbutisa) Maharajasa" (Great king Amogh, of the Kunindas) around the field, 2.02g, 17.13mm, (Variant of W. Pieper # 1143/Unlisted in JONS), reverse double-struck, about very fine, Extremely Rare.

Note: This variant for the type is with a railed Yupa below the deer.

This would be the second instance of the appearance of a yupa in the railing on a coin of the Kunindas, the first example of this type listed in the W. Pieper Collection. In the obverse, the goddess’s legs are slightly bent to right, an unusual specimen for the type.
