Note: Following Akbar’s successful conquest of Gujarat in 1573 CE, the Mughal administration swiftly integrated the newly annexed province into its imperial monetary system. While Ahmedabad became the provincial capital, other regional mints such as Malpur and Anhilwara Patan (also known by its Islamicized name Nahrwala) were briefly activated to ensure localized monetization and facilitate payments to Mughal troops deployed for further military expansion into Kathiawad.

Anhilwara Patan held great historical significance as the former capital of Gujarat under the Chavda and Chaulukya dynasties, and later as the initial seat of the Gujarat Sultanate under Muzaffar Shah I (1407–1411 CE). By the time of Mughal annexation, it remained a thriving center for trade, especially textiles.

The mint operated for a very short period, limited to AH 984 and AH 985 only.
